Waiting to exhale.
The Doll and I have been discussing a number of reasons as to why we seem to interact so well. I think that it has a lot to do with our broken pieces fitting together in a way that helps bring balance. By broken I mean the little quirks that have influenced both of our lives and given rise to our desires for a relationship based upon dominance and submission. I firmly believe this lifestyle attacts folks with a certain set of desires which extend beyond curiousity. Many who indulge themselves out of the wrong reasons quickly find things out of balance and unable to understand the need to dominate or submit to another.
This, like many lifestyles can be “faked” for sometime before boredom or frustration leads them away, however I also believe there are a number of us who are just wired this way. Those of us who are, find it very hard to supress in order to conform for a lover or others around you. I for one attempted to do that for quite a few years, wondering if there was something “wrong” with the way I related to others. What I found was that the more I supressed it the more frustrated I got, unvented feelings which turn into unhealthy feelings of resentment, anger or the desire to stray.
These conversations concerning the mistakes we have made in the past as well as lessons for the future can only help, and when you start off with great communication things can only get better.
